TPKACX and TP9KFX Car Lifts

Tuxedo Distributors recently began hosting a “Lunch with Ron” series.  Ron Healey is Tuxedo’s Capital Equipment Manager. He is very well versed with all the ins and outs on the Tuxedo products we sell.  In this video Ron discusses the TP9KACX and TP9FFX Car Lifts.  Both of these lifts are rated for 9,000 lbs.

The KACX is a clear floor lift where the synchronization lines run overhead.  The KFX is a floor plate lift where the synchronization lines run along the floor and are protected with a heavy guage steel formed steel plate.  The KACX offers asymmetric lift arms, while the KFX has symmetric lift arms.  Ron does a nice job explaining the difference.

When customers call us with recommendations on what kind of lift would work best for them, our first question is always; What is your ceiling height.  Most clear floor lifts require close to 12′ ceiling height.  The floor plate lifts have lower column heights and typically work great for ceilings under 10′.  We sell several brands and models of both styles.  The TP9KACX and TP9KFX Car Lifts are both an excellent choice for home car enthusiasts or small service shops.
