Description
The HMC SL-3086 motorcycle lift is rated for 1,200 lbs.
It has a large 6″ x 27″ air cylinder paired with a 1/4″ all steel scissor frame. The frame and cylinder has a 1,200 lb. rating and fabricated with high tech equipment in the United States. HMC’s lift frames are built tough and designed to last a lifetime. Frames and cylinders are welded in Marshalltown, Iowa and finished with a flat black Rustoleum® paint.
The SL-3086 has a 30″ x 86″ table. The one piece table is laser cut from 12 gauge steel with mounting holes for both the CV-2049 cycle vise or the SC-2000 wheel chock. The 3086 lift top includes rear corner slots for the SL-2009 ramp, creating a secure and firm fit. The table offers three color variations; Thunder Blue, Matte Black, or Olive Drab.
Additional features on the HMC SL-3086 include phenolic non-scarring front wheels, a large rear wheel drop out, KML 2 3/8″ bearings, Flexzilla® swivel hose whip, and a compact return to center foot control valve.

I purchased a HMC SL-3086 to help with the maintenance and upgrades on my new motorcycle about a year and a half ago. I did quite a bit of online research beforehand and reached out to their customer service for some more information that partially entailed shipping information. One of the biggest reasons that the HMC lift stood out above the rest of the field to me is the structural strength of the design and the quality of the materials and workmanship. I am not willing to risk a failure of any kind and the best way to minimize the chance is to go with a sturdy lift. There are several holes for tie down points for eyebolts to secure the motorcycle, along with holes to accommodate a cycle vise or wheel chock. One of the first things I noticed was how heavy the removable wheel dropout insert is and how well the surrounding areas are reinforced. There is a handy removable tray on each side as well that keeps stuff organized and from rolling off the lift. I ordered a wheel kit to make it easier for me to maneuver in the garage by myself. I also purchased an extra ramp for additional safety and if I wanted to work on something wider than my motorcycle. This lift makes everything so much easier than working at ground or floor level. It makes cleaning and working on my motorcycle a much more efficient and enjoyable experience. The HMC motorcycle lift is by far, my best overall investment in a tool or piece of equipment, ever. I don’t believe that there is a better made lift on the market today, let alone one that is proudly made in the USA. It truly is an awesome lift! I also have had the best customer service experience throughout, and the bar has been set quite high.
